Appointments & scheduling

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call 702-631-5009, text 725-377-8633 or use the contact form. All services are by appointment.

What are your office hours?

Tuesday and Thursday 10am–7pm, Wednesday and Friday 10am–5pm, Saturday 9am–2pm. Additional after-hours and weekend appointments are available by request. We are closed for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after, and Christmas.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

A list of your current medications and medical conditions, and photos of the tattoo or area if you have them. Come with clean skin — no makeup, lotion or deodorant on the treatment area.

What happens during my first visit?

A thorough evaluation: your goals, medical history, skin type and the area itself. You leave with treatment options, a detailed written quote and your questions answered. In many cases you can start treatment the same day.

What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens — if you miss an appointment we will simply work with you to find another date. Please call at least 24 hours ahead when you can. Membership appointments require 48-hour notice.

Laser tattoo removal

How does laser tattoo removal actually work?

Tattoo ink sits in the dermis in particles too large for your immune system to carry away. A picosecond laser fires pulses lasting trillionths of a second, which shatter those particles photo-mechanically rather than by cooking the tissue. The fragments are then cleared through the lymphatic system over the following weeks — which is why sessions are spaced 6–8 weeks apart rather than back to back.

What makes the Enlighten III different from a Q-switched laser?

Three things: multiple wavelengths (1064nm, 670nm, 532nm) so one platform can address black, blue, red, green and yellow ink; dual pulse durations (750 picoseconds and 2 nanoseconds) for precision with less collateral heat; and spot sizes from 2mm to 8mm so large tattoos take roughly the same time as small ones. Original You was the first practice in Nevada to offer the Enlighten III.

What is the DeScribe PFD patch and why does it matter?

The DeScribe PFD patch is an FDA-cleared, dual-layer silicone patch infused with perfluorodecalin. Placed over the tattoo during treatment, it reduces laser light scattering, draws heat away from the skin and lets us perform several laser passes in a single visit with no waiting between passes. The practical result is fewer total sessions and better comfort, without adding meaningful time to the appointment.

Which ink colors are hardest to remove?

Black, dark blue and red respond well. Green, light blue, yellow and white are historically the most stubborn, though pico technology has expanded what is achievable with them. White ink and some cosmetic pigments can darken or shift color when treated, so we perform a test spot whenever there is any uncertainty before treating the full tattoo.

What should I expect during and after each session?

The tattoo frosts white immediately after the pass and returns to its normal color within about 24 hours, then begins to fade. Expect the equivalent of a sunburn, with possible swelling, pinpoint bleeding or blistering. Most people go back to normal activity the same day. Keep the area clean and covered per our written aftercare, avoid sun and soaking, and let scabs fall off on their own.

Can you fade a tattoo for a cover-up instead of removing it?

Yes, and it is one of our most common requests. Cover-up fading only needs to lighten the existing ink enough for your artist to place new work cleanly, so it typically takes 1–4 sessions instead of a full removal course. Bring your artist’s design or their notes to the consultation and we will plan the fade around what they need.

Do you remove microblading, permanent makeup and eyebrow tattoos?

Yes. Brows, lip liner and other permanent makeup that has shifted color or shape can be treated, with extra care given the proximity to the eyes and lips. Cosmetic pigments are chemically unpredictable — some contain iron oxide or titanium dioxide that can darken — so a test spot comes first, always.

Can you remove a tattoo over a scar or keloid?

Often, yes, but the plan changes. Scarred skin has different pigment behavior and blood supply, so we use conservative settings, longer intervals and clear expectations: the laser targets ink, not scar texture, so the underlying scar will still be visible after the ink clears. We evaluate the scar in person before quoting a session count.

Is laser tattoo removal safe?

With a properly trained, licensed practitioner using equipment appropriate for your skin type, laser tattoo removal has a well-established safety profile. Risks include temporary redness, swelling and blistering, and rarely lasting pigment change or scarring. We review medical history, assess your skin, discuss risks individually and document each area photographically at every visit.

How soon can I start, and how long between sessions?

Many patients start the same day as their consultation. Sessions are then spaced at least 6 weeks apart — 6–8 weeks is typical — so the skin fully heals and your immune system has time to clear fragmented ink. Waiting longer than 8 weeks is fine and never sets you back.

Pricing, payment & financing

How much does laser tattoo removal cost in Las Vegas?

At Original You, single sessions run from $150 for a tattoo under one square inch to $425+ for tattoos larger than 16 square inches. Prepaying reduces that: 10% off a package of 5 sessions and 20% off a package of 7. Half-sleeves and sleeves are quoted at consultation. You get a written estimate covering total sessions and cost before you commit, and we offer financing through Cherry and CareCredit plus an in-house, no-credit-check, no-interest payment plan.

What payment options do you offer?

Cash, credit card, CareCredit, Cherry and LendingUSA, plus an in-house no-credit-check, no-interest payment plan for tattoo removal. Payment is due at the time of service. See financing.

Do you offer package discounts?

Yes — 10% off a package of 5 tattoo removal sessions and 20% off a package of 7, plus discounts when multiple tattoos are treated in the same session. See pricing.

Laser hair removal

How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?

Most areas need 6–8 sessions, scheduled every 4–6 weeks so you catch hair in its active growth phase. Coarse, dark hair responds fastest. After a full series most patients see long-term reduction, with occasional maintenance sessions.

How much does laser hair removal cost in Las Vegas?

Pricing is by treatment area and starts at $80 per session at Original You. Memberships lower it further: the $89/month Happy Skin plan includes a small area each month, and the $149/month plan covers two medium areas. Get an exact quote at your free consultation.

Is laser hair removal safe for darker skin?

Yes, with the right device and settings. We use the Cutera excel HR, which pairs a long-pulse 1064nm Nd:YAG for deeper skin tones with a 755nm alexandrite for lighter tones, plus a contact-cooling handpiece. Your Fitzpatrick type determines the wavelength and fluence we choose.

What areas can be treated?

Face, underarms, arms, chest, back, legs, bikini, full Brazilian and more, for both men and women. Back and shoulder treatments are popular with our male patients for obvious reasons.

How should I prepare for a session?

Shave the area within about 24 hours of your appointment, skip waxing and plucking for four weeks beforehand, avoid sun and tanning, and come in with clean skin free of lotion or deodorant on the treatment area.

Skin rejuvenation & PICO Genesis

What is PICO Genesis and what does it treat?

PICO Genesis is a non-thermal picosecond laser treatment using 532nm and 1064nm wavelengths to fragment pigment and stimulate collagen. It addresses brown spots, sun and age spots, melasma, hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, enlarged pores and fine lines with typically only 24–48 hours of redness. Original You was the first provider of PICO Genesis in the Las Vegas Valley.

How many skin rejuvenation treatments will I need?

PICO Genesis is usually a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with one or two maintenance sessions a year afterward. Laser Genesis and DiamondGlow are often done in series of 3–6. Sun and age spot removal frequently takes just 1–3 treatments.

What does skin rejuvenation cost?

DiamondGlow is $199 per treatment ($525 for 3, $894 for 6). Laser Genesis is $225 ($597 for 3, $900 for 6). Sun and age spot removal starts at $89 per treatment. A PICO Genesis series is $1,600 (limited-time pricing, normally $1,900) with single treatments at $800. Memberships and financing reduce all of these.

Is there downtime?

Minimal. PICO Genesis usually means redness for 30 minutes to a few hours and sometimes light flaking of pigmented spots over the following week. DiamondGlow has no downtime at all. Laser Genesis can leave mild redness for a day or two. Broad-spectrum SPF 30+ afterward is non-negotiable in the desert.

Location & service area

Where are you located and which parts of Las Vegas do you serve?

We are at 7477 W Lake Mead Blvd, Suite 106, Las Vegas, NV 89128, near Buffalo and Lake Mead in northwest Las Vegas. Patients come from Summerlin, Desert Shores, Centennial Hills, Lone Mountain, Providence, Spring Valley, North Las Vegas, Aliante and Sun City, and most are 10–20 minutes away. Free parking is right outside the suite.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes — every consultation is free and obligation-free, and takes about 30 minutes. We review the tattoo or skin concern, your medical history and your Fitzpatrick skin type, then give you a written plan with session count, spacing and cost. Bring photos and your list of current medications. In many cases you can start the same day.

Do you treat patients visiting Las Vegas?

Yes, though timing matters: laser treatments and immediate sun exposure do not mix, and tattoo removal requires sessions 6–8 weeks apart, so a single vacation visit is rarely a full plan. Single-session treatments like DiamondGlow travel well. Read more.
