How much does laser tattoo removal cost in Las Vegas?
At Original You, single sessions run from $150 for a tattoo under one square inch to $425+ for tattoos larger than 16 square inches. Prepaying reduces that: 10% off a package of 5 sessions and 20% off a package of 7. Half-sleeves and sleeves are quoted at consultation. You get a written estimate covering total sessions and cost before you commit, and we offer financing through Cherry and CareCredit plus an in-house, no-credit-check, no-interest payment plan.
How many sessions will I need to remove my tattoo?
Most tattoos clear in 6–12 sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart; our clinic average is about 7, and most patients are satisfied in 5–7. Ink color, ink density, tattoo age, body location, your Fitzpatrick skin type and your immune response all shift the number. Cover-up fading is usually 1–4 sessions. If you pass 10 treatments with us, we continue treating that area free for one year.
Does laser tattoo removal hurt?
It does — most people compare it to a rubber band snapped quickly against the skin, or to getting the tattoo itself. Sessions are short. We use cold compress before, during and after, and because a medical professional is always on site we can offer local anesthetic injections: a few needle pokes and then you feel nothing during the laser pass. Ribs, ankles and hands are more sensitive than outer arms or thighs.
Can you remove colored ink and treat darker skin tones?
Yes. The Cutera Enlighten III is a third-generation picosecond laser with three wavelengths (1064nm, 670nm and 532nm) and dual pulse durations, so blacks, blues, reds, greens and yellows can all be targeted with one platform. For deeper skin tones we use the 1064nm wavelength with conservative fluences and a test spot to protect surrounding pigment. White and some cosmetic pigments can react unpredictably, which is why we always test first.
Who actually performs the laser treatment?
A licensed healthcare professional — physician assistant, nurse practitioner or physician — never a non-medical laser technician. Dr. Brian Citro, MD, FACS is on site for consultations, treatments, staff training and supervision. In Nevada, laser tattoo removal must be performed by qualifying licensed practitioners under physician oversight, and we hold to that on every treatment.
